To facilitate the growth and emergence of new e-health leaders, French Tech Grand Paris and the Digital Medical Hub (AP-HP) announce the creation of a free support program, from April 3 to 7, for 20 promising start-ups active in this strategic area. The call for applications is open to all companies, preferably Parisian, in the preclinical stage with strong development potential in the pharmatech or medtech sector.
Health is also one of the priorities of the government’s France 2030 plan. A program called Health20 was also launched in November 2022 by the French Technical Mission to support fast-growing health technology. Clara Chappaz, director of the French Tech Mission, is also HiiT’s godmother. (More information manual)

Ali Hanout, co-founder of Resaam, a start-up specializing in transforming the transportation coordination process of health systems, says: “As a health start-up, I had to surround myself with start-ups in the same field, not only to possibly create synergies, but above all to be able to save time by making use of their experience. In the beginning, it was extremely difficult to find the right organizations to meet our needs, and once we identified them, to talk to them. We also need help identifying living labs, healthcare experts to support us, understanding the issues and how CIOs work, or responding to public tenders.”
French Tech Grand Paris and the Digital Medical Hub want to respond to these issues by creating the first edition of HIIT (Health Innovation Intensive Training), a week of free support for French startups in the preclinical phase.
The call for applications is open

- The startup is in a preclinical stage, with strong potential for disruption and development
- The company can be a pharmatech or a medtech (not a biotech)
- She can be very young or more mature (pivot)

A boot camp under the sign of mutual aid
“Bringing together the good fairies of e-health so that they look at the cradle of young shoots”, that is the aim of the program sponsored by Nicolas Castoldi, executive director of the Hôtel-Dieu initiative at AP-HP (Assistance Publique Hopitaux de Paris).
As a program launch, the French Tech Grand Paris and the Digital Medical Hub are organizing an exclusive evening on January 24, 2023 that will bring together the health ecosystem with the partners of this first edition of HiiT* in Lifen. The opportunity to unveil the details, modules and prestigious speakers of the program, which will take place during the week of April 3 to 7, successively at Hôtel Dieu, Future4care and PariSanté Campus. The week-long support combines the DMH’s expertise in co-developing health tools that can be easily used by hospitals and health groups, topics such as market access, and providing a network to accelerate startups; but also the business recommendations to the French Tech side in terms of team structure, business model and fundraising.
Come to MedInTechs
To showcase its selection of startups and mobilize its ecosystem, French Tech Grand Paris will be mobilized at the MedInTechs trade fair. The event will bring together the general public, patient associations and federations, health professionals and experts in new technologies from 13 to 14 March 2023 at the Parc Floral de Paris. The opportunity to take stock of the HiiT program and register it as an essential tool for startups looking to become a leader in e-health.
The winning startups, 20 in number, will be announced during the show. They are the first promotion of the program.
* The program is supported by La French Tech, AP-HP, ICOSA, Agence RP, Lifen, INES, Peech and the Fonds Patient Autonome de Bpifrance.
