In 2022, Renault sold 11,185 vehicles in Switzerland in 2022 (against 13,308 in 2021), including 7,512 passenger cars and 3,601 light commercial vehicles, as well as 72 wagons. This represents a slight decrease of -16% in the global Swiss market down -7% compared to the previous year.

Master E-Tech Electric is the best-selling electric van in Switzerland ahead of Kangoo VAN E-Tech Electric
In the light commercial vehicle category, Renault rose to second place in the Swiss brand ranking in 2022 with 3,601 registrations, representing a market share of 14.5%. The two best-selling vehicles Master and Traffic were recorded 1,685 and 1,109 times respectively (2021: 1,699 and 1,723 units), small commercial vehicles Kangoo Van and Express respectively 582 and 293 times (2021: 805 and 282 units) . Of the 1,685 Masters, 240 are already fully electrified, of the 582 Kangoo carriages, 233 already have 100% electric propulsion. The Master E-Tech Electric has for the first time overtaken the Kangoo Van E-Tech Electric as the best-selling electric van in Switzerland and thus takes the top spot for the first time in the model ranking for all brands.
Light commercial vehicles will continue to be electrified in 2023, with the Trafic E-Tech Electric launching in the second half of 2023.
