The Japanese manufacturer has just unveiled a new 100% electric SUV concept car at the New Delhi Motor Show in India: the Suzuki eVX.
It is on the sidelines of the Auto Expo in New Delhi, India, which will open its doors to the public from January 13 to 18, 2023, that Maruti Suzuki has just lifted the veil on a brand new concept car, christened Suzuki eVX : a 100% electric city SUVwhich is a harbinger of a future production model.

Suzuki eVX: a 100% electric city SUV
Suzuki is a well-known brand for its SUVs, such as the S-Cross or the Vitara, a real forerunner in the field since its launch more than 30 years ago. And even if the information has not yet been officially confirmed by Suzuki, it seems that the Suzuki Vitara is about to be replaced by a 100% electric version.
With a length of 4.3 meters, a width of 1.8 meters and a height of 1.6 meters, the Suzuki eVX eVX is a 100% electric city SUV concept, which marks the arrival of the very first 100% electric model world of the Japanese brand, born of Suzuki’s SUV and 4×4 know-how, and which is already making promises “A real Suzuki driving experience”.
Suzuki eVX: imposing style
On the external side, the Suzuki eVX presents imposing and sculpted lines, with a front whose X-shaped light signature is reminiscent of the latest Citroën productions. The design is engineered to optimize aerodynamic performance, with beefy rims, camera mirrors and recessed door handles. Suzuki, on the other hand, has not released any images of the interior.
According to the Japanese company, the Suzuki eVX concept incorporates the innovations of the latest generations of 100% electric vehicles. The model is based on a new platform dedicated to electric carsand equipped with a four wheel drive. According to rumors, this platform was designed in collaboration with Toyota.

Suzuki eVX: range of 550 km
Under the hood is a 100% electric motor, powered by a 60 kWh batterywho gave him one autonomy of 550 km according to the Indian MIDC homologation cycle. Suzuki has not specified the origin of this battery, but the Indian specialist media indicates that it could be supplied by BYD, and that a smaller 48kWh version would also be available.
The production version of the Suzuki eVX will be marketed in 2025. Production will take place in India, in a brand new Maruti Suzuki factory, which will provide exports to all over the world, including Europe.
